Dose anyone know if amniotic fluid is sticky? Ik it has a sweet smell & that u cant control it when its leaking but is it suppose to be sticky? This is prob tmi but I feel as if I keep peeing on myself little by little I cant control it &is amniotic fluid sticky it。

I had my 36 week appointment today and they discovered my amniotic fluid is low. They wound up sending me to the perinatal center at my hospital to get measurements of the fluid and a NST. The doctor wants me to come back next week to get rechecked and if it’s still low I’ll be having our boy within 24 hours of that appointment.

I’d be really surprised if it was amniotic fluid this early, but it’s not impossible. I bet it’s leukorrhea, standard pregnancy discharge. Also not impossible for it to be a little pee. I have this too and I’m 90% sure it’s mostly discharge but sometimes I worry it’s some tinkle.
